About Marsha Ellazar
Locally born and raised, I left the islands to attend San Francisco State University and earn a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. I returned to Hawaii and pursued a Masters in counseling psychology from Chaminade University, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. My career began as an early intervention counselor with children diagnosed with the autism spectrum disorders, as well as their families. I gained experience working with post-traumatic stress disorder when counseling military service members who had been through the trauma of combat and deployments.
I have spent time as an employee assistance program coordinator for a large workforce where I broadened my counseling services to include conflict resolution training and mediation. I choose to focus on Marriage and Family Therapy as I believe that a harmonious home is the result of a happy and loving marriage and family. I enjoy helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in any way I can to tackle complex concerns and issues. Let me help you!
